Knutsford Star Choir raises £1,100 for local charity
There was a packed house again this year for Knutsford Star Choir’s Annual Christmas Concert in aid of local charity, the Children’s Adventure Farm.
Held at Knutsford Methodist Church on Saturday 10th December, the evening featured seasonal favourites such as Sleigh Ride and Have yourself a merry little Christmas, plus carols and some unusual non festive songs.
The children from Egerton Primary School Choir, conducted by Di Healey entertained the audience with Away in a Manger and The 12 days of Christmas and professional singer Charlotte Gibson delivered two outstanding solos.
Stewart Gardiner, the Mayor of Knutsford was in attendance together with over 200 Knutsford townsfolk for a festive and most enjoyable evening.
Nick Montague, founder and conductor of Knutsford Star Choir was pleased with the event, commenting “This is one of our biggest performances in the year and it went really well. We are delighted to have raised so much for the Children’s Adventure Farm”.
